Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure and honor to invite all of you to the 6th International Congress on Lipid Metabolism & Atherosclerosis (ICoLA 2017) and the 54th Fall Conference of the Korean Society of Lipid & Atherosclerosis (KSoLA) on September 8~9, 2017 at Conrad Seoul Hotel, Korea.

Since the 1st ICoLA was launched in 2012, it has gained international recognition throughout successful congresses. ICoLA has earned a solid position as an event with global influence and a powerful platform for international communication, cooperation and collaboration in all aspects of Lipid & Atherosclerosis.

We are planning the best possible programs including high-quality scientific sessions that will provide knowledge in depth and open new perspectives ranging from basic research to clinical medicine and future therapeutics in the field of Lipid and Atherosclerosis.

In this year, ICoLA 2017 and the 54th Fall Conference of the KSoLA offer a two-day exhibition about the cardiometabolic risk and thrombosis. It consists of the President Lecture, four plenary lectures, eleven symposia, three joint sessions and two workshops.
In the plenary sessions, we will provide special lectures by world class leaders such as Dr. Masanori Aikawa from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Shizuya Yamashita from Osaka University, Dr. Kenneth Walsh from Boston University and Dr Hyo-Soo Kim from Seoul National University. There will be presidential lecture of Dr. Inkyu Lee from Kungbook National Univeristy, and two sessions of oral and poster presentation aimed at young scientists as well.
We wish ICoLA 2017 will be an excellent opportunity to exchange scientific ideas on current and emerging discoveries, share knowledge and research findings through active participation and discussions, and build network with Korea and the world.

We warmly welcome you all to the ICoLA 2017.
